Kayleigh and Andrew | Wisconsin State Capitol | Madison, Wisconsin

Updated: Dec 8, 2019

Been traveling non-stop these past few weeks, which included a stop in Wisconsin, at one of my favorite place I have ever shot at. The Wisconsin State Capitol is the second largest capitol in the country, only 15 feet shorter than the one in Washington DC, but equally as stunning. It offered so many different angles, and spots for photos, and was absolutely stunning. I seriously could photograph at the Capitol every single day and never get tired of it. It shot to the top of my list of favorite places to shoot the second I saw it and it is definitely a close second after shooting there. We also had the pleasure of shooting inside and on the observation deck at the top of the building which was just absolutely amazing.

Besides a seriously incredible venue, I also had an incredible couple, and their sweet little boy, Kyson. Kayleigh and Andrew wanted to grab a few family shots before they started their part of their engagement session. It was so great to meet little Kyson who was a total Ham in front of the camera, and seriously the cutest little guy. He hung with us most of the remainder of the session, and even hung out behind mom and dad's legs in a few shots. He was just totally adorable. But the main focus of this session was Kayleigh and Andrew. They have been together for 8 years and you can tell with the way they just fully love each other, and the way they joke and tease each other. They made for a lot of laughs during their session, and a lot of gorgeous shots as they laughed or smiled ear to ear. They were such a sweet couple, that were a total dream to photograph.
