Fall being upon us means that engagement session season is upon us. I shoot 5x more engagement sessions in the fall, and last fall I ended up shooting 10 in October alone. So no surprise that again this year my fall is filled with engagement sessions galore. But let's be real, the fact that I shoot so many engagement sessions happens to be why I love fall so dang much! I love engagement sessions! They give me such a great feel for my couples, and help get them used to me and my camera. This is why I feel engagement sessions are so valuable, but I will save that for another time.
Josh and Brittany's engagement session told me quite a few things about them. For starters they love their dog, which automatically makes them the best kind of people in my book. Josh can make Brittany laugh really easily. They both are two of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met, and they also had several really good photo ideas including the cool light that Brittany found. So basically those things right there already make them dream clients, especially the dog lover thing. But there is more to Josh and Brittany. These two truly and completely love each other and you can tell by the way they both just light up around each other. There is no shortage of smiles with these two when they are together. They also compliment each other in that they just fit perfectly together. I couldn't think of a better match then these two. These two literally look at each other as if they hit the jackpot and won the lottery when they met, and I love it! They were a total dream to photograph and I can not wait for their wedding next fall!
Also we shot Josh and Brittany's engagement session exactly one year and one day before their wedding which I thought was so crazy, but also awesome. On that day next year they will be preparing to become husband and wife, and celebrating at their rehearsal dinner. They couldn't of chosen a better date for their engagement session!
