When I met Katie last August regarding her wedding, I knew I wanted to be her photographer. Katie is seriously so sweet, and gentle, full of compassion and was going to be the prettiest bride. I was ecstatic over their wedding, and after their engagement photos knew their wedding was going to be absolutely breathtaking. I was not prepared for just how beautiful their day was.

Katie and Bobby got married on a very rainy June day, and yes I mean June. It literally poured the whole morning of their wedding, meaning their outdoor ceremony was moved inside. However everything else went as planned and it cleared up just moments after I arrived and we were able to do all their photos outside like Katie wanted. But besides the rain, which brought a little bit of good luck to their day, their wedding day was seriously so dazzling. Katie chose the prettiest color palette, seriously it may be my color palette when I get married I loved it that much! She chose tiffany blue, and grey, combined with the prettiest pastel flowers. Total dream. Besides the colors, there was the beautiful floral arrangements, the stunning alter decorations, an amazing bridal party and a whole lot of love going around. This was one of those weddings were you can feel the excitement and the out pouring of love onto the couple throughout the day. There was also Bobby's vows, which were completely and altogether the tenderest vows to the point that I was actually crying behind my camera during them. My favorite detail of the whole day? Katie's handkerchief. Katie used her grandfather's handkerchief to dry her tears. As someone who lost her grandfather when she was younger, this had me so emotional. During details I just had to take a minute and think about how this was totally the sweetest thing, and such a beautiful way to include her grandfather in her big day. Katie and Bobby also had the funniest and most entertaining bridal party. The guys had my second shooter and I in tears with their jokes, and the girls were so sweet, and so great to spend time with, making my second shooter and I feel so welcome.

But besides the details which had me emotional, and the beautiful vows (Should mention Katie's were equally amazing), there was this incredible couple in the middle of all of it. Katie and Bobby, equally sweet, gentle, and loving, are so incredibly in love that they made my job so insanely easy. These two are the real deal, and something I hope everyone has. These two just connect and go together so well. They both light up the room with their smiles when they see each other, seriously you should of seen the smile Katie and Bobby both had as she walked down the aisle. I honestly have never photographed someone smiling that big as they saw their spouse for the first time on their wedding day. These two actually left me speechless with the amount of love they have for each other and how well they express it in front of my camera. Literally had me wishing I could photograph them every weekend. Every once and awhile I have a couple whose love is deeper then others, who I know without a doubt are truly soul mates, and whose love is something Nicholas Sparks should turn into a movie, and this is one of those couples.
